LEAD Loddon Murray Board nomination and information pack for Graduate members for the upcoming Board election process.
For more than 28 years, LEAD LM has played an important role in developing courageous, connected and community-minded leaders across our region. Through the Loddon Murray Community Leadership Program and our graduate network, hundreds of people have gone on to contribute to their communities, industries and organisations in meaningful ways.
The incoming Board will play a critical role in shaping the next chapter of LEAD LM. A major focus for the new Board will be taking the time to reflect on the organisation’s purpose, assess current community and regional leadership needs, identify gaps and opportunities, and determine the most sustainable and impactful path forward.
This will be a working Board. Board Members will need to be prepared to actively contribute their time, skills and expertise beyond governance responsibilities alone. This may include strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, funding and partnership development, communications, advocacy and supporting operational priorities as the organisation rebuilds.
We are seeking graduates who are passionate about regional leadership, community impact and the future of LEAD LM. Diverse skills, backgrounds and perspectives are encouraged. The board is made up of six graduate members and four independent members. If there are more nominations than the six graduate positions available, an election will be held. The information provided on the application form will be used on voting forms if an election is required
